Kathmandu, Pokhara and Bhaktapur Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu.

A tour representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel.

In the evening, you can explore the tourist hub of Thamel, known for its lively markets, restaurants, and shops.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 2
After breakfast, embark on a full-day tour of Kathmandu Valley's UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, the most famous Hindu temple in Nepal, located on the banks of the Bagmati River.

Explore the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a focal point of Tibetan Buddhism.

Visit Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the "Monkey Temple," perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the city.

You can also visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, showcasing traditional Newari architecture and royal palaces.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 3
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara (approx. 6-7 hours).

En route, you can make a stop to visit the Manakamana Temple, a sacred site accessible via a thrilling cable car ride over a scenic valley. (Note: The cable car ride is often an optional activity at an extra cost).

Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along the beautiful Phewa Lake promenade.

Day 4
Wake up early (around 5:00 AM) and drive to Sarangkot for a breathtaking sunrise view over the majestic Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges.

Return to the hotel for breakfast.

Afterward, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Pokhara.

Visit the serene Devi's Fall and the nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which has a sacred shrine.

Enjoy a serene boat ride on Phewa Lake, where you can see the Tal Barahi Temple situated on an island in the middle of the lake.

Day 5
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kathmandu.

On the way, stop at Bhaktapur Durbar Square, another UNESCO World Heritage site. Bhaktapur is famous for its well-preserved Newari culture and traditional architecture.

Upon reaching Kathmandu, check into your hotel. The evening is at your leisure for any last-minute shopping or exploration.

Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 6
After breakfast, check out from the hotel.

Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey.
